February Meeting Charity nominations are open! Please take a moment to consider if there is a charity you would like to see receive our group donation. Visit our website at 100womenwhocarecaledon.com for a list of eligible charities. If a member has a different charity in mind for nomination, that’s great too! Eligible charities must provide their services to the Caledon community, be a registered charity able to provide members with a receipt for their donation and agree not to use our group donation for any administrative costs.
Attending our meetings is a great way to hear directly from nominated charities and ask any questions you may have. We were so glad to see so many people attend our last meeting and hope to see you all again in February.
Voting and Proxy Votes Only members that attend the meetings in person are able to vote, unless they set up a proxy vote before the meeting. If you are unable to attend the meeting but would like to vote, you may send in a proxy vote with another member. Proxy votes can be printed from the website under the tab “Meeting Info”. Extra voting ballads will only be provided to those presenting a signed proxy vote ballad at the registration desk. Please note that only members that are up to date on their donations may vote or nominate a charity.
Door Prizes We have had some great door prizes donated at our 2023 meetings! Thank you to Patty Davidson, Barb O’Handley, Karen McDonald, Susan Graham and Jane Chapman (CSC). If you would like to be a door prize donor for an upcoming meeting, please send a quick email to info@100womenwhocarecaledon.com and let us know.
Welcome New Members! We would like to take this opportunity to welcome the new members for 2024. We are always so glad to welcome new women into our group. Thank you for becoming 1 of 100! Beryl Darro Elizabeth Turzer Susan Hicks Joanne Armstrong Leanne Hughes Sherry Covert
Growing Our Membership We are always happy when new members join us! We have found that often it is word of mouth that helps promote our group. Please feel free to spread the word about 100WWCC through sharing our website or sharing our posts on social media. We will again provide colour flyers at our meetings in 2024, for members to take home a distribute or post in their communities. We also have a flyer that is available to members that would like to add it to their community newsletters etc. Consider bringing a friend to one of our upcoming meetings. Guests are welcome to attend and can register at the desk at the beginning of the meeting. The bigger our membership, the bigger our impact!
Administration Sponsor We would once again like to thank our administrative sponsor, Sarah Haney. Sarah has again offered to support the group’s administrative costs for 2024. Sarah’s support covers our administrative costs such as website hosting, email and social media boosts. Thank you Sarah! We are very grateful for your support!
To all our members…Thank You!
