100WWCC Newsletter-September 2021
Hello 100WWCC Members! We hope that you and your families are well. We are getting ready for our third quarter meeting of 2021 and are looking forward to making a difference to a local charity.
We have made the decision to continue with another virtual meeting for September. We do miss getting together in person, but feel that this is the best option for us for now. As with our May meeting, we will offer another optional Zoom meeting to give charities an opportunity to make a brief presentation and give members an opportunity to ask questions.
Zoom Charity Presentations and Q&A
Our Zoom Charity presentation and Q&A will take place on Monday September 20 at 7:00. This is an optional meeting for those who would like to have the opportunity to ask the nominated charities a question and to hear what the charity is all about. We will continue to hold the remainder of our meeting in the same format as previous meetings, with written appeals being emailed to members and voting done via email. The Zoom meeting will just offer an optional enhancement.
We understand that the internet is not reliable for all of our members. To address this, there will be a call in option for the Zoom meeting. We will also offer an early start for those who may need assistance getting their camera and microphones working. We will provide further details about the Zoom portion of our meeting when we send the Zoom invitation out in a couple of weeks.

Growing Our Membership
We are always happy when new members join us! We have found that often it is word of mouth that helps promote our group. Please feel free to spread the word about 100WWCC through sharing our website or sharing our posts on social media.
“Women of Influence”
In case you missed it, 100WWCC was featured in the MYFM 101.5 Orangeville radio station as part of their Women of Influence Day. We were recognized for our fundraising efforts in the community. It was an honour for our group to be featured as “one” of the women of influence in Caledon Dufferin and it was a great opportunity to spread the word about our group. The interview, along with other media news stories about 100WWCC are available under the "Media Coverage" tab of our website if you would like to take a listen or a read.
Thank you for your continued support of local charities through your membership with 100WWCC. Now, more than ever, our group donations make a difference to local charities. Fundraising is such a challenge for these groups and your donations mean so much.
Thank you to members that have made extra donations, along with their regular donations through our Canada Helps page. As always, it is very much appreciated!
