$200,000 in Donations!
We are thrilled to announce that we have surpassed the $200,000 mark for donations by our members! Sometimes, it’s hard to pat ourselves on the back but it is worth being reminded of the impact we, as a group, have had on our community. We have helped bring meals to seniors, supported programs for youth experiencing homelessness, helped women and children displaced by violence, supported an art program for children facing end of life of loved ones, helped fund a program to empower girls, supported a mental health initiative in Caledon high schools, funded programs for those living with cancer, supported seniors in our community, helped fund a farm program donating food to food bank, supported victims in our community, music helped fund music programs for people with disabilities, helped support a program for people living with Alzheimer’s, helped fund a cooking program that donated back to the food bank, supported the food bank, funded a theater visit to all elementary schools in Caledon, supported the cost of advanced cervical cancer testing equipment, help fund upgrades to a seniors residence, support a grassroots group working to protect the environment, supported a local family raising money for families facing difficult times during the holidays and beyond – in memory of their son, supported our local Special Olympic Athletes, supported our local wildlife rescue and helped fund the construction of new trails on the Bruce Trail. We have touched nearly all elements of our community together. Congratulations Members! We hope to see you at the next meeting to celebrate together.
