2021 Meeting Dates
November 12: Charity Nominations are due. All nominations will be vetted at this time to ensure that they meet the qualifications for nomination.
November 16: Three charities will be drawn and announced to the membership. The selected charities will be given the opportunity to address the membership in the form of a written appeal on behalf of their charity (approx 250 words).
November 19: The written appeals from the charities will be emailed to the membership.
November 25: Votes may be cast until midnight on November 25. Voting can be done in one of two ways.
1.) Email firstname.lastname@example.org using the subject “Vote”
2.) Phone in your vote. A phone number will be provided.
November 26: The chosen charity will be announced via email, on our website and through social media.
December 10: Donations are due. We have decided to provide members with a due date to help reduce the amount of time required by our volunteers to collect outstanding donations . In addition to mailing in cheques, we are also set up on Canada Helps. Their link is found on our Home Page. We suggest your donation through Canada Helps is for $104 to cover their administration fee.
