2022 Meeting Dates
Monday May 16: Charity Nominations are due. All nominations will be vetted at this time to ensure that they meet the qualifications for nomination.
Tues May 17: Three charities will be drawn and announced to the membership. The selected charities will be given the opportunity to address the membership in the form of a written appeal on behalf of their charity (approx 250 words).
Friday May 20: Written appeals from the charities will be emailed to the membership.
Monday May 23: Zoom presentation and Q&A (7:30 pm) Voting opens.
Wednesday May 25: Voting closes at midnight. Voting can be done by emailing
firstname.lastname@example.org using the subject “Vote”
Thursday May 26: The chosen charity will be announced via email, on our website and through social media.
Friday June 10: Donations are due. In addition to mailing in cheques, we are also set up on Canada Helps. Their link is found on our Home Page. We suggest your donation through Canada Helps is for $104 to cover their administration fee.
