2021 Meeting Dates
February 11: Charity Nominations are due. All nominations will be vetted at this time to ensure that they meet the qualifications for nomination.
February 12: Three charities will be drawn and announced to the membership. The selected charities will be given the opportunity to address the membership in the form of a written appeal on behalf of their charity (approx 250 words).
February 18: The written appeals from the charities will be emailed to the membership.
February 24: Votes may be cast until midnight on February 24. Voting can be done in one of two ways.
1.) Email firstname.lastname@example.org using the subject “Vote”
2.) Phone in your vote. A phone number will be provided.
February 25: The chosen charity will be announced via email, on our website and through social media.
March 12: Donations are due. In addition to mailing in cheques, we are also set up on Canada Helps. Their link is found on our Home Page. We suggest your donation through Canada Helps is for $104 to cover their administration fee.
