How We Work-SIMPLE AND EFFICIENT

Each Member or Team of up to four women commits to donating $100 per meeting, four times a year to the organization receiving the most votes.
Any member who has signed a Membership Commitment Form and who is current with her donations may submit a Charity Nomination Form to nominate an organization for consideration at a meeting.
The nominating members or representative of three randomly selected organizations will submit a short presentation about the organization to the group.
Each member who has signed a Membership Commitment Form signed who is current with her donations may vote either by email or phone for one of the three organizations.
The selected organization will receive the group donation of potentially $10,000.
Members who did not vote for the selected organization agree to make their donation regardless.
Proxy Votes If you are unable to attend the meeting but would like to vote, you may send in a proxy vote with another member. Extra voting ballads will only be provided to those presenting a signed proxy vote ballad at the registration desk. Please note that only members that are up to date on their donations may vote.
Members will receive a tax receipt directly from the charitable organization.
Members are expected to either mail their cheque or submit their donation through our Canada Helps link on the Home Page of the 100 WWCC website.
Organizations under consideration must serve the Caledon area and provide individual tax receipts directly to contributing members.
An organization that was not one of the three selected at one meeting may be submitted again at a subsequent meeting. If the organization was one of the three chosen to present, than to avoid possible back to back presentations they are asked to sit out the next meeting.
A successful organization is eligible for future consideration after 1 year. The nominating member may submit the name of another organization at any time.
Ties will be decided by further votes. If a tie persists, the membership will vote to either (1) randomly select one of the tied organizations by draw; or (2) divide the group donation equally between the tied organizations.
The selected organization must agree not to give out member information to any third parties except for tax purposes or where required by law.
100% of our donations go directly to the charity with no administration fees.
Updates will be emailed on how the funds donated were used by the successful organization.
