As individuals we felt that it was challenging to make a meaningful impact in our community, but as a group we are powerful and can contribute in ways we never thought possible.

History of 100 women who care

 The first chapter was founded in 2006 in Jackson, Michigan by the late Karen Dunigan. In that first meeting she raised over $10,000 for cribs for a charity. The first Canadian chapter began in September 2012 in Toronto. Related groups are 100 Men Who Care and 100 Kids Who Care. There are currently more than 400 chapters making a huge impact in communities around the world.
