At 100 Women Who Care Caledon, we believe in the power of collective giving. Our mission is to unite women who care about their communities and want to contribute positively. By coming together, we can make a significant impact in Caledon. Each member, or team of up to four members, commits to donating $100 four times a year, making a substantial difference with minimal effort. Join us and be part of a movement that empowers women and transforms lives.
We are pleased to announce that Close 2 Home Caledon is the recipient of our February donation.
Close 2 Home Caledon's mission is to provide community-based supportive housing for individuals facing developmental challenges and diverse abilities, all while ensuring they stay close to their families and their community. Liana and Blanca explained to the group that there can be a 15-20 year wait for housing for adult children with special needs. Their charity is working towards opening a home for adults with special needs in the Caledon area that will help keep them close to their families. Our donation will help fund a sensory room in the home.
